DV cassette loading issue on Canon MV30 camcorder

Good evening,

I have a Canon MV30 MiniDV cassette camcorder

The cassette mechanism is malfunctioning. As soon as I try to play or record, the tape on the cassette deteriorates. The tape is practically torn.

    Good evening,

    I’m afraid your camcorder is at the end of its life... It’s probably the read/write heads that have died and are deteriorating the tapes.

    Maybe you could try having the heads of your camcorder cleaned by a professional...

    For your tape, try removing it gently from your camcorder and reinserting it into the VHS housing.
