Hello,
I just bought a Lenovo C260 and I'm having a problem with the USB bus controller. It shows a yellow exclamation mark and then:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) processor N-and-J-series/Intel(R) Celeron (R) processor N - and J - series
EHCI USB - 0F 34
"This device cannot start (code 10)."
I went to the device manager to update this driver, Windows says it is updated but the problem persists.
Can you help me? I'm totally lost... ;-)
Do I need to return the computer to the seller? Or is it possible to fix this issue myself?
Thank you very much in advance...
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 33.0

Try again to install the driver manually:

Hello,
On the manufacturer's website, there are two options for the C260, which model is concerned?
C260 All-in-One (Lenovo)
C260 Touch All-in-One (Lenovo)
What operating system and is it 32 or 64 bits?
Regards.

Good evening,
I went into the BIOS under Advanced - CPU Setup - each line ends with <enabled>
I went to the Devices tab - USB support <enabled>
Everything seems to be activated.
Additionally, I did some research in safe mode if my memory serves me right; I was able to access the following information by typing: sfc/scannow (my account was recognized as administrator this time)
Here is what appeared: Windows Protection found damaged files and was able to repair them (Note: I had re-tried to uninstall the driver, etc.). Details in the CBS.Log
windir\logs\CBS\CBS.log
Anyway, the problem is still there... I'm sorry to be confused, but all of this is totally or almost unfamiliar to me... Thank you for your help.

Hello,
When I try to install this driver, it automatically indicates the location:
D:\EXE Build \ Intel chipset Driver
When I confirm, this appears:
The driver or UNC share you selected does not exist or is not accessible. Please select another.
However, the only thing I can select is "insert a CD into the CD drive." It's quite large. I don't have a CD on hand, especially since I don't know what it's for.

Hello,
I’m back. I’m responding because I think this could be interesting. I returned the PC and the seller refunded me. He was quite surprised and told me it was definitely bad luck; besides, there was no way to get a new one since he didn’t have any in stock.
I went to another store to buy the same one (40 euros more), I set up the PC (last night), and surprise: the problem reappeared!!!!
What could this issue be? Is it simply related to the software installed by Lenovo (solution center) that is not suitable for the PC's configuration?
Personally, I don’t think I’m that unlucky...
What do you think? Thanks for your response.

Have you done all the updates via Windows Update?

I'm working on them, but there are many... I admit that I'm a bit lost in all these updates... It seems that one of them failed. I've restarted Windows Update once again and it's still downloading 4 updates right now.
What kind of problems do you think I might encounter with this USB bus controller since my PC is working fine...?

I did the same process as on the old PC, by searching for "PCI to USB standard host controller" I found the hardware ID number:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0F34&SUBSYS_369517AA&REV_0E
In short, it's exactly the same as on the old PC and I don't really want to do the same manipulations as last time... Could you reply to me in more detail when you have the time, thanks a lot.
