Hello, here is my problem: I installed Bluestacks to play Clash of Clans, but the issue is that as soon as I stop clicking in the app window or even in the Bluestacks menu, it goes to a black screen (as if the software enters sleep mode). And once it’s like that, I have to close it and restart it to play again.

Do you have a solution?

PS: I want to specify that I run it as an administrator and in Windows 8 compatibility mode.

I also want to clarify that it's not the black screen issue that some have or had when launching Bluestacks; for me, the software works fine and without any problems as long as I click inside it. But if I stop doing anything, after 15 seconds, poof, it fades to black and I have to close the app.

I succeeded!!!! Some points may be unnecessary, but he who can do less can do more!

    So you need to

    - completely uninstall Bluestacks from the programs and features in Windows
    - show hidden items in C:/
    - go to ProgramData and delete the bluestackSetup file
    - go to user/"your account"/AppData/local and delete the bluestacks folder
    - go to user/"your account"/AppData/local/Temp and delete all files containing bluestacks and BSD.

    - run CCleaner and perform a registry error scan, then clean it.

    - restart

    - go to the installer folder of Bluestacks, right-click, properties, compatibility and select "run as administrator" and check the first box "compatibility", then select Windows 7

    - click OK

    start the installation.

Well, I suppose I’ll have to wait for a possible software update.

Same problem as you!!!! After 15 seconds black screen, impossible to do anything! Do you have any syntax issues in the icon settings in the taskbar?

Yes, I have syntax issues as well, however one of my cousins has syntax issues but not the inactivity problem. I will still uninstall the software as you suggested because I had already done it and see if it works.
