Good evening,
I have a Canon MG5300 series printer that was working fine.
Until the day when I wanted to scan (either via MP Navigator 5.0 or directly from the printer), and I got an error message.
The worst part is that I can still print, and my printer is recognized.
I have already reinstalled, stopped the antivirus...
I have Windows 7, connected directly via USB to the printer (USB3.0 port).

-The scanner is offline
-The USB cable is disconnected
Please check and try again
The scanner driver will be closed.

Check the USB connections and reinstall using the latest drivers from the Canon website:
