Canon pixma mp error 2,140,21

Good evening

Regarding the problem with the Canon Pixma MP 495 printer
I want to scan photos and tonight it's impossible because after double-clicking on the scan button, I get the usual message "the document will be scanned, do not open the printer lid" and immediately an error message: "printer in use or an error has occurred, code 2,140,21". Despite searching for this error code, and also turning off and restarting the printer and the computer, I still get the same error message.
Does anyone recognize this error, please, and if so, is it easy to solve? And if yes, how?

    Good evening,

    I read on a site that the problem can be resolved by pressing and holding the power button on the printer for about ten seconds (or until the lights stop blinking, if that's the case).

    I have no certainty, but it might be worth a try!
