Hello,

So I've bought this Packard Bell Portable PC EasyNote TE69BM-29202G1

link:https://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/ordinateurs-pc-portables/pc-portables/lf-228394_6-acer.html
Memory:
RAM 2 GB (1 x 2 GB)
Technology DDR3L SDRAM
Form Factor SO DIMM 204 pins

I would like to add RAM memory, unfortunately I don't know how to do it, what RAM to choose to ensure compatibility and at the same time at an affordable price.

I was advised to get G.Skill NS Series 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz CL11 link: https://www.cdiscount.com/informatique/memoire-ram/g-skill-ns-series-4-go-ddr3-1600-mhz-cl11-ram/f-10716-auc0848354009610.html#mpos

But I want other opinions rather than buying and then ending up with something that doesn't work
So here it is === Which RAM memory should I take?? How to install it correctly as well.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE this will save me!

    Hi

I don't know who advised you on this RAM but they should stop giving advice :)

The RAM you want to add is suited for desktop PCs, not for laptops

Hope I have answered your question.

    Hello,

Use CPU-Z (SPD tab) to know the type of memory currently installed in the different slots

The memory stick that was recommended to you is not suitable; it is intended for a desktop PC. What you need is So-Dimm DDR3L 204 pins

You just need to determine the frequency and CAS for your new stick, hence the usefulness of CPU-Z

Volunteers appreciate the following words: hello, good evening, thank you, please! Don't forget it! For emergencies call 112 or learn patience.

after further research, you can expand your laptop to 8 GB of RAM (2 x 4 GB)

      CRUCIAL CT6004288 - 4GB DDR3 PC3-12800 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.35V, 39.59€

Super, thanks for your advice, it really helped me. I think I will order a RAM memory like you told me, miura564. The advice was given to me by a site where I actually bought my laptop. Luckily you mentioned it! Because on top of that, I asked them several times if it was good for a laptop, and they confirmed it, which seemed strange to me given the size. I hope it will work, and I'll keep you updated.

For me, there are no issues; the one I recommended will work just fine...

At Cdiscount, they are sellers... not technicians, and their memory sticks are more expensive than directly from Crucial...

      WARNING also about the voltage.

...What is voltage? Sorry, I don't know anything about it at all lol.

The voltage that seems to be recommended for the memory sticks in your Packard Bell is 1.35V

not enough power and your sticks won't start... too much and you burn them out... that's why you need to be careful with the voltage.
