Hello,
My external hard drive Lacie N2870 is no longer recognized by my computer. I've tried several things:
Restarting my computer and reconnecting the hard drive on startup
Connecting it to several USB ports
Using another USB cable
About a month ago, I backed up all my data on this external hard drive, and I spent quite a bit of time on it, so I can't format it or I would lose everything.
I was told I needed to download a new driver, but when searching on Google, I found several results, but nothing that corresponds to my OS Windows 8.
If you could help me, thank you for your responses.
Configuration: Windows 8 / Chrome 36.0.1985.143

Hello,
I recommend connecting it to your computer with a "Y" cable like this: http://www.fnac.com/StarTech-com-USB-Y-Cable-for-External-Hard-Drive-USB-A-to-mini-B-cable-USB-30-cm/a3217806/w-4
No USB hub... But directly connected to the PC
Try that... Before anything else. -
Thank you, I tried it and it works directly connected to the PC, so I plugged my mouse into the hub and it works, so problem solved, thank you.
