LaCie setup assistant? Solved

Question

Hello,  I just bought a LaCie Porsche Design P9230 external hard drive, but when I turn it on, I don't see a setup assistant. There are 4 steps according to the instructions: 1 Plug in the power supply, 2 Connect the USB cable, 3 Turn on the hard drive, 4 Launch LaCie Setup Assistant. However, I can't do step 4 because I don't see it, and my computer doesn't seem to recognize anything plugged into a USB port. How can I see it?  Thanks.

1) When the HDD is connected, check if you see it in disk management.  2) Also let me know if the PC makes a sound when you connect the HDD.  3) When the HDD is connected, check in the device manager if  you have any ? or /!\ yellow symbols.  @+  -- The radiation level is higher at the unemployment office than at Chernobyl.

The PC does not emit sound, only the hard drive  The hard drive emits one sound and not the PC?  At the very top there are File Action View? Are you sure you don't have any ? or /!\  yellow indicators in device manager?
