Hello,

I just received my PSX/PS2 controller adapter for PC via USB (SUPERBOX 3 PRO from Madrics)
I plugged it into a USB port, installed the drivers provided on the CD but nothing works, the adapter is not even recognized by the PC.

It is powered, the USB port works correctly, I even tried other ports but that didn't help.

Does anyone know how to get the adapter to work?

Thanks.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0

Hello to all the owners of the Madrics SuperPro 3 controller. I use XP and Vista 32 and everything works perfectly with the controllers. My secret? I don't use the drivers provided with the adapter but rather those from EMS. It's another adapter that works perfectly with SuperBox 3 (and even other versions to test). Go grab the drivers at: http://www.hkems.com/download%20-%20EMS%20USB2.htm

XP 64 and Mac also work.

Have fun gaming everyone.

Happy I am!!! I finally found the trick to get my SuperBox3 working on Vista.
No need for drivers, none of that, just download the excellent freeware JoyToKey here: http://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/telecharger 34055742 joytokey
It's quite simple to set up and you can create presets, then you just let it run and launch the game.
I can finally enjoy Burnout Paradise with my PS2 controller on Vista64 ;-)

Yo ultrashock,
I got JoyToKey, but I can’t see how to configure it at all, it’s not picking up any info from my controller.
Can you help me please?

For WIN 7, the EMS driver http://www.hkems.com/download%20-%20EMS%20USB2.htm works perfectly, at least with a PS2 controller!! enjoy!

Maybe it is broken, I also have a PC running XP, the superbox3 is recognized without drivers, both ports are recognized in "Settings" > "Game Controllers". The adapter might be faulty, maybe we should claim the warranty?

Hello, I have a magic box 3 and Windows Vista. I bought it a long time ago and it always worked well with XP, but it doesn't work now. I would like to know if anyone else has had the same problem with Vista or if the issue is not related to that at all. Thanks and see you soon!

On my friend's laptop, my adapter is connected and works perfectly, but on mine, it is not detected; both laptops are XP.

You need to configure it without considering that he cannot see it, e.g.: button1=up arrow (accelerator), button2=down arrow (brake), etc...
Note the game controls and match them.
See you!

On Vista Family Premium (64 bits), nothing works, neither the official drivers, nor restarting, nor the various tests of plugging / unplugging, nor Joytokey...
Does anyone have another idea?
Thanks in advance...

My controllers work otherwise, and the adapter does too (on another PC)

The problem is that some of you have Vista or Win7 in 64-bit version. For now (to my knowledge) there are no drivers for 64-bit systems. If you want to use the pad, you need to install Windows in 32-bit and take the EMS drivers mentioned above. I sent an email to EMS and it seems they will not make a version for 64-bit. ;(

@Ultrashock: Are you sure you are on Vista64? Even with JoyToKey or Xpadder, if you don't have the drivers, your controller will not be recognized by the software.

Well, I'm on W8 64 bits, I downloaded JoyToKey: https://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/utilitaires/13075-joytokey/, installed it, we launch it and there on joystick 1 we configure the buttons with the PC keyboard, chance is enough... I'm using it to play PES so after that I launched the game settings to configure but I went to keyboard (and not joystick), and as soon as I want to configure a key I do it on the controller, I just had one issue getting it to accept the directional arrows (enable/disable analog on the controller) and then it works perfectly... to adapt to the game you want to play hoping these few somewhat confusing lines will guide you and lead you on the right path ;) ps: you need to keep JoyToKey activated during the game.
