SOS Blockage= Unknown album cannot be deleted

Hello,
I made various recordings of my vinyl records that I saved in my library. Then I wanted to change some titles (files). Since then, I have found myself with an unknown album in Windows Media Player, containing various tracks from different vinyls that I cannot listen to (damaged files). It's not a big deal because I have these tracks backed up elsewhere. The problem is that I cannot modify or delete this unknown album. Therefore, I can't save anything new on my computer because whenever I save, my new tracks go into this unusable unknown album.

What should I do? Thank you for your help!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 33.0.1750.154

    Hi.
Is it a media player problem or a disk issue?
Check your hard drive for different files to see if there's a problem.
Try another music file player (Winamp for example) to see if the problem might be with the Windows player.

      Hello,
The problem is that the files no longer exist since I deleted them from the library, but Windows Media Player won't let me delete the unknown album that contains them. There are no duplicates, I checked, and I even tried to remove other albums that only contained half of the songs I had recorded, who knows why... And even those albums, I can't delete them, even though I've removed all the tracks on them from the library to make sure there are no duplicates. I'm fed up...

It's purely a media player issue then. One of the reasons why I no longer use this player: "unfathomable."
