"Unknown Album" Files

Question

Hello,
On my computer in my "My Music" folder, I found several folders named "Unknown Album" with music files named:
01 Track 1 Unknown Artist Unknown Album (12-27-2007 09:11:05)
02 Track 2 Unknown Artist Unknown Album (12-27-2007 09:15:26)
I don't understand what this is; these aren't songs I've downloaded and these songs do not exist in any other folders on my computer. It can't be possible that they came out of nowhere, and why would the folders and songs be named this way? Especially since there are several of them; sometimes there’s only one song inside, and in others, there are 7 or 8.

I have a pretty similar problem. I bought the CD of one of my favorite bands (Indochine, to name it) and each song is labeled track 01, track 02... etc. Unknown artist and all that, but I want to see the titles and the name of the artist, as well as the album cover. What should I do!!!

Hello, when you listen to music from a CD on your computer, it extracts the music from the CD and puts it in a folder named unknown album with the tracks named in this way.

Good evening,So for that, you need to go to "Extract" in your Windows Media Player, then in the top left, right-click on the image, and select "find album information".Or the simplest way: manually enter the titles, the artist's name, the album name, the release date, and the genre. However, when you extract the music to your computer, the artist's name does not get saved, so you need to go to the folder of the extracted album, highlight all the songs of the album, right-click -> properties -> summary, and then enter the artist's name in place of "unknown artist".There you go, I hope I have addressed your problem.Have a good evening
