Hello,
here it is, I just built my PC but I have no image on the screen (it's all black) and apparently it's not sending a signal... that's what's written on the screen (no signal).
And the other thing is that upon startup, the PC makes one long beep and three short ones, knowing that I have nothing connected (keyboard, etc...) except for the power supply of course...
Thank you.

Good evening, your problem corresponds to the video; you reinstall your graphics card and if it doesn't work, it's because your card is faulty.

Hello!

What does "HS" mean?

When I start my central unit (ACCENT), a very old computer, its color is white and my screen (PHILIPS) is also a very old large screen, model (107 E), you know the generation I believe.

There are two buttons on the front of the central unit, the one on the left is called "Power sw" and the one on the right is called "Reset sw" (the names on the cables in the central unit).

The "Power sw" button does not work and the "Reset sw" button works well; I press the latter, the central unit starts, the "LED POWER" light turns green but the "LED HDD" light does not turn on.

After a few seconds, I hear beeps; 1 short beep followed by 2 very short beeps and then 1 short beep.

Can you please explain to me?

What is wrong with my computer?

It's a long beep and three short ones, and in your link, it talks about keyboard connection... for this type of problem.

Hello,
I encountered the same problem as Leonelmessi
Thank you for the link Belgamo59!
I unplugged and replugged the keyboard: everything is working normally again.

Same for me this morning 1 long beep followed by 3 short beeps, testing a graphics card at a friend's place, it's working! So I'm going to change the card this afternoon.

Sorry, I can't help you on MSN, you have all the meanings of the beeps and I can't do anything more. Please check everything again.

Do you think that's why the screen stays black??? I’m using a wireless keyboard, so via USB connection, could it be that you think???

NO SIGNAL on the screen: GRAPHICS CARD? WIRELESS USB KEYBOARD?

I had this problem myself after dusting my computer, no signal written on the screen + wireless USB keyboard, even though I just "vacuumed" inside my tower...

The computer turns on, fans, LEDs, hard drive, little light on the motherboard, the GPU is almost new...
But no signal! 1 long beep then 3 short beeps on startup.

I've checked everything, disconnected everything, dismantled and cleaned everything even deeper than the vacuum cleaner and nothing. Absolutely nothing! "no signal, damn it" : /

After reading this forum I reconnected the GPU a second time but still nothing on startup. Stubborn, I disconnected the GPU well 5 or 6 times then restarted, on the 6th time I was ready to order a new GPU... but anything but this one!! (entry-level MSI).

I read this forum to the end this time (the story about the wireless USB keyboard having no connection with the fact that nothing is displayed, I stopped there and jumped to my graphics card), then I went to CHANGE MY USB PORT KEYBOARD without really believing it, and despite this inconsistency, the picture appeared!!

If anyone has an explanation!?

I actually had the same issue myself. I found that my keyboard was poorly connected (the connection wasn't fully in), now everything works well. Thank you all!

OK, my bad then, it’s a keyboard issue.
