Hello,

For the past few days, my PC won't start, meaning 3 short beeps at startup and no signal sent to the screen, just the beeps. I tried removing the 2 RAM sticks and putting them back, but nothing...
My configuration:
- Asrock H55M-LE motherboard
- 2 RAM sticks (2 times 4 GB)
- i5 760 2.80 GHz

    Hello,

    Here is the error code depending on the type of BIOS you have:

    Award BIOS error signal
    3 short beeps: Motherboard needs to be replaced.

    AMI BIOS error signal
    3 short beeps: Faulty memory at the level of 64 KB of base memory. Motherboard needs to be replaced.

      Hello,
      honestly I don't know what type of BIOS I have, but frankly I'd be really happy if it were a BIOS friendly to RAM sticks, they cost 25€ each
      while I can't afford the motherboard.

      It's all good, guys! I found the problem, it was the RAM sticks that were not properly clipped in!
