Hi,
I have a CDJ 1000 MK2 turntable that turned off with a CD inside while I was mixing.
I managed to remove the CD, but the turntable still won't turn on.
I checked the fuse inside, and it's fine.
Help!

Dear Disc Jokey Sammmmmm,
We are sorry for not mentioning during your purchase that it was a disposable turntable.
We apologize sincerely.

Hi,
I had the same problem as you with my CDJ 1000 MK2.
How did you manage to get it repaired?
And if so, is it still reliable?

So for your information, Pioneer turntables are very reliable, I have the 800 and it's really good. A lot of people focus on Technics, but they're only good for vinyl turntables (which I also use for mixing). As for your problem, mine has never done that... If it doesn't turn on while the fuse is good, that's true, it's not a good sign. The customer service will cost you quite a bit, that's true... but less than the K2 itself... although if it's dead...
<translate>YOU CAN'T REPAIR THE CDJ 1000MK2, IT'S TOO COMPLICATED. YOU HAVE TO WARRANTY IT; OTHERWISE, BUY A CDJ 1000MK3 OR THE CDJ 100MK2 WHICH WORK WELL. HERE'S MY INFO.</translate>
Hi, either you're lucky and it's just the power supply that's acting up, or the motherboard has taken a hit, and then it's hello damage. First, check with a multimeter if power is reaching the power supply at 220 (sometimes there’s a hidden fuse in the connector). If that's the case, see if there’s a soldered fuse on the board (usually round and black). If you don't have any knowledge in electronics, it's better to let a professional handle it, and be wary of friends who say they know; they often cause more damage than anything else... good luck.
Hi there
You just need to change the micro switch located under the cue button
For that, you must open the CDJ and detach the ribbon cable that connects the two parts of the player
(white with a blue stripe); you just need to pull it out of its holder, there’s no connector
Then, unscrew the screws that hold the board under the cue buttons (be careful with the metal piece
of the SD card, once all the screws are removed, lift the board to remove the play, pause, fast forward button set (it’s all together). Be careful not to lose the two small transparent pieces that surround the buttons
Once the buttons are removed, from the front of the CDJ, you can access the cue micro switch with your fingers
Desolder and replace it.
Tip: do the play at the same time.
Then reassemble everything, and that's it.
I hope I’ve been clear; it's not easy to explain.

A mouse must be trapped inside.
Put a piece of cheese on the platter of the CDJ 1000 and it should come out.
Don’t worry, I’ve done this before.
Good mix and see you later.
Kisses.

Hi! I received my new CDJ 800 MK2 turntables from America yesterday (I know the store manager, so no problem), and I made a big mistake. The power plug is American, and I found a cable that matched the connection on the turntables, but on the other side, it has an EU plug that fits directly into the socket. However, they turned on for 5 seconds and then shut off... I think I blew the fuses... Can someone advise me on how to replace them, and how much it costs to buy fuses for 2 turntables??? Thanks in advance...
Buy a DJ cassette player, cassette 800, it's not bad!!!! Don't let the mold on the pitch rot, it stinks afterwards... seriously, bring it back, it's guaranteed, I think.....@+
Hi, to respond to your issue:
when you mix, make sure not to obstruct the ventilation of your CDJ 1000
it could be that the transformer has failed (overheating)
check the power supply of your CDJ*
good luck, bye

Hello,
I have a question of a similar kind. I have two American CDJ 800 MK2s with a special adapter for the power supply... During a party, I mistakenly connected them to a French power supply and unfortunately, they turned on and off at the back, and since then they won't turn on anymore...
Is there a fuse or something that needs to be replaced, or should I go directly through Pioneer France?
Thank you in advance.
