Loss of rows due to a filter

Hello everyone,

I'm filtering names in my Excel table, the sorting is done. I switch back to "select all" and then I lose 4 rows from my table (whether they are at the end or in the middle of the table). Has anyone here faced this issue before?

Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

Instead of selecting all, go to Sort and Filter in your ribbon and then clear,

If the problem persists, consider sending your file via www.cjoint.com

    Hello

Do you have merged cells in the filter area
a solution is to remove the filter and reapply it, which resets all filters to zero
If you have merged cells, all the rows or columns will be hidden when applying a filter that corresponds to that merged cell
Also check if you have any hidden rows or rows with a height of 0
select the row before and the row after your missing rows, right-click and set row height = 12.75 for example

Practice makes perfect. - It's at the foot of the wall that you see the mason - you always learn from your mistakes

I tried your solution of removing the filter and it worked. Thank you very much.

I can't send the file because it's professional material. You will understand, of course, that I can't disclose information. However, I tried your Lentzouille technique and the result is the same. At first, I have my lines from 6 to 23 without interruption, I apply a filter on a name, and when I return to "normal" mode by removing the filters, I lose lines 19 to 23 (or line 18 when applying a filter on a specific name).

The data in your table doesn't matter to me.

Delete them and put whatever you want in their place, I'm just trying to correct your problem,

And without having the file in front of me, I don't see too many solutions like this,

    Best regards,

Are you sure you don't have 5 empty lines between lines 6 and 23?

No, I have all my lines. I applied protections to my document; I don't know if this could affect my problem or not.

Remove your protections and redo the manipulation,

If this is corrected, you'll know where it's coming from ;)
