Orange mail very slow

Hello,
I have a subscription with Orange (internet max) and for the past week, when I try to access my email, it is very, very slow. Yet my speed is 100Mbit/s. Even when I browse certain sites, it’s slow. Moreover, I have blocked intrusive ads but Internet Explorer 7 still lets some through. If someone could help me. Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello everyone
    I found my problem, I searched for *.tmp and deleted everything. Now everything is back to normal. The issue was caused by Symantec/Norton, my antivirus.

    Furthermore, if you are experiencing slowness issues via webmail (https://messagerie.orange.fr), try using an email client in IMAP to see if performance is better and vice versa.
