How to change Fallout New Vegas to French?

Hello, I would like to set Fallout New Vegas to French but I haven't found a French patch. I downloaded falloutNv.esm in French but as soon as I launch the game, it crashes.
If you have a solution, please let me know!
(P.S. I tried setting the graphics to low and that didn't work.)

If you're on Steam... right-click -> properties -> language -> French
