Hello everyone,
I have a rather annoying problem with my speakers. So here's the thing, there’s a kind of buzzing sound that can be heard as soon as I turn the sound on. Since I'm not very tech-savvy, I was wondering if someone could help me out.
Thanks in advance...Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.3

Hello everyone
Having experienced the problem of crackling from my Altec Lansing PC speakers, I think I can provide a simple bit of advice.
At first, I thought the crackling was coming from the speakers and that I would have to replace them.
By moving one of the speakers, I realized that the crackling decreased or stopped completely. In fact, it was placed right next to a wireless phone charger.
-> I believe the transformer integrated into that charger was affecting the electronic circuit of the speaker and causing the crackling.
So to avoid any crackling, try not to place the speakers too close to electrical devices, such as Liveboxes, phone chargers, etc.
There you go, it's definitely better to know this than to have to replace them!
Cheers
