Hello,
my Canon i350 printer is no longer printing, and the message I receive is: printer busy. The problem is that I can no longer use my CD drive to reinstall it. What should I do?

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Simple, miraculous manipulation on mine that did nothing despite reinstalling the drivers:
1: unplug USB and power supply.
2: while holding the power button down:
3: open and then close the ink cartridge cover
4: release the power button
5: plug everything back in
6: turn the printer back on: miracle (normally) the light no longer blinks.
Reason: when changing cartridges, they are sometimes too full. Canon seems to have set a limit and blocks the printer. I’m not an expert in printers and don’t have more information on that.
PS: writing in capital letters means shouting and will not make the problem get resolved any faster.
edit: oops sorry for bumping such an old message, I saw a more recent one on the subject, and it might still be useful for someone...
