Hello everyone,

I currently have a GPS: Mio Spirit 680. I am supposed to update my GPS with software that is installed on my computer, called "MioMore Desktop 7.50".

However, when I launch this software, the program stops working and returns an error saying "MioMore has stopped working", and I can only click on "Close the program".

I have no idea what to do; I will soon be going on vacation, but my GPS is not up to date. I tried uninstalling/installing it again, but the error is still there. Any help from you would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.

glg29, you gave me an idea ^^ I'm going to try to install it on another computer to see if I have the same problem. I'm not home right now, but I'll give it a try this afternoon!

And yes, Java seems to be installed.

It's still not working. Both PCs are running Windows 7 and MioMore doesn't work on either of them. It gives me exactly the same issue. Could it be related to the operating system? The problem is that it used to work perfectly before: on the day I purchased the GPS.

I don't know much about this model, but before launching the software, maybe the GPS needs to be connected to the computer, right?
That's why the question about the Windows update came up earlier!
Did you check the website? There is a contact form, but I think you need to have an account.
See you!

I can't find anything on the site that could help me. And the GPS is already connected. I don't know if I managed to explain myself, but basically, when I launch the program, an error message appears, forcing me to close it. So I can't perform the updates, but I don't understand why. I've already tried on two PCs and the problem is the same.

My problem is solved. And it's thanks to an idea you gave me, glg29 :) It was much simpler than an update actually ^^ The whole thing was to properly configure Miomore for Windows 7 by going into the properties... But thank you, you dedicated time to me and helped a lot!!

Have a good evening!

Hello

1) uninstall Miomore from your machine
2) clean the Windows registry with CCLeaner
3) restart your PC
4) reinstall Miomore

Best regards

Good evening,
Try to download it from the site and then install it perhaps!
It should be this LINK, in principle!
Disconnect the GPS before installing.
See you later

Good evening, and thank you for your quick responses.

The problem is not resolved:
- I uninstalled the software
- Installed CCleaner and cleaned the PC
- Restarted the PC
- Reinstalled the software from the site provided by glg29

The result remains the same, there is no change. Can you help me?

Darn it!
Is the operating system up to date?
If not, please perform the updates and try again, maybe!
See you!

You need to have Flash and Java installed on your PC, is that the case?
Otherwise, have you checked the site? Some explanations regarding your issues might be helpful, it would be a good idea to verify.
See you later!
