GPS Update GPS Alert G200

Question

Hello,

There is already a post about the "200"

However, I just realized that there are two radar detectors 200, one from Garmin and the other from GPS Alert

My question therefore concerns the GPS Alert gps G200

I can't perform the updates
it does not recognize the device (which works) despite the installation of the software and the usb driver
I am scrupulously following the manual but nothing works
Otherwise, does anyone have a hotline number, which is impossible to find

Apparently, there are quite a few issues with the G200. Personally, I lost the CD; can someone give me the name of the software to download for updates, please?

I have the same problem with the G300. I can install the software, but then there's an issue with the USB driver; it doesn't recognize it. I deleted the program and reinstalled it, but nothing works. Do you have a solution?

Same problem!!! When I plug it into the PC, the G200 starts up but there's no sign of life on the PC, no detection of new hardware...

There are versions of GPS G200 V1 and V2, green label for V1 and blue for V2. Check the back of your alarm for the color of your label and download the appropriate update software.

Regardez à l'arrière de l'appareil sur l'étiquette si c'est indiqué (modèle G200 ou G200V2). Il y a deux logiciels, le G200 ou le G200V2, puis installez le bon logiciel.

It seems that it is no longer possible to update these devices given the law that prohibits the use of radar detectors or warning systems; the deadline set for manufacturers to stop signaling radars was November 26, 2011. This is probably the reason why it no longer works.

Good evening, G 200 v1 black label v2 other colors see on the Wikango site. Updates for these GPS units are available for a cost of 19.95 euros for USB detection.
Go to the WIKANGO site - click on compliance - close the window and at the bottom of the page, you will see (frequently asked questions, click on it) and search for GPS G200 and others - automatic connections (device not connected) click on show and download the file (noted in red) and run this file, your GPS will be recognized. There you go, you need to find it. Have a good evening, Roger.

I registered on the Wikango site.
I downloaded version 2 for free. Don't forget to edit the compliance certificate, which is available after registration.
I have just updated my 200. version 05/05/2012.

Hello, I wanted to bring out my G420 and like many, I encountered the update issue with their application. I finally stumbled upon their FTP server: ftp://wikango.com/DOWN/FW/ I managed to manually download the latest firmware and inject it into my G420. But it's a lost cause because Wikango no longer provides updates for the AlerteGPS products!!! The firmware stops in late 2011 or early 2012 depending on the version while those for Wikango products have monthly updates!!!
For the G420 driver on Windows 7, you need to download it here http://www.boo-ree.com/sub2_1_1.php

So now I'm avoiding Wikango, and I'm going to switch to Inforad...
