Hello,

I have a digital decoder to receive TNT channels because my television does not receive TNT channels (small LG television). Knowing that my rooftop antenna is not powerful enough, I purchased a digital amplified indoor antenna to replace my rooftop antenna. I connected the coaxial cable from the indoor antenna to my decoder, but unfortunately, there is no signal. I followed the instructions word for word, which suggested performing a channel search on MaTnt.fr, which I did. I placed my antenna outside, and the signal intensity is good (70%-80%) but the signal quality is at 0%.

Knowing that "signal intensity" shows a gray bar instead of green as it should be.

Here is my indoor antenna:

I have used the indoor antenna on two different digital decoders:

- CGV PREMIO ST3
- Sigmatek DVB-153

Thank you in advance for your responses.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 22.0

To begin with, you should read what has been said about the possible use of indoor antennas for receiving digital terrestrial television (TNT). In summary, nothing is guaranteed, and statistically, it works only in 20-25% of locations.

It has also been mentioned that when an outdoor rooftop TNT antenna produces an insufficient signal, you can add a UHF preamplifier 21/60 (anti 4G LTE) to the mast, and if this amplification solution is still insufficient, you can directly switch to satellite digital television "Fransat HD" by installing a satellite dish (> 60cm) pointed at Eutelsat 5WA. The existing coaxial cable can be reused (see satellite forum). You will receive the 25 free national French channels (the same applies if you choose TV Orange) at 5°W.
