Hello everyone,
first of all, thank you for helping me or even reading this message...
Let me explain my problem:
Last night, I lent my computer to my big sister (13 years old, girl, basically clueless about computers...), everything was working fine, she told me it was to watch a movie (Drop Dead Diva, I personally don't believe her), then she turned off the computer, and the next morning, she (re)turned on the computer in question, and nothing,
the manufacturer’s logo appears, followed by a cursor (to edit text, like this _), usually it blinks, but this time it doesn't...
Then there comes a white text on a black background:
"Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.2(09/28/10)

Check cable connection!
PXE-N0F : Exiting Intel PXE ROM
No bootable device - - Insert boot disk and press any key
_ "

And when I press any key it gives me the same message again...
My sister told me she was watching her series on a USB drive from one of her friends (I don't know them...), nothing changes when I insert that USB drive...
I turn off the computer, (re)turn it on, then I go to "Boot Options" and go to the "Boot" section, I instantly detect "Intel UNDI", but even moving it, nothing changes...

So, I seek your help. Thank you.

PS: I restored my computer about a month ago, and everything was working fine.
PS: Thank you for reading this far...

Hello,

Check if there is a CD in the player and a USB drive connected.

Hello,

PXE is a boot of the machine via the network. It is often the last boot option for a machine.

It appears when the machine can no longer boot from the disk. Either it is faulty (broken, poorly connected, etc.), or the boot sectors have been overwritten.

Is the disk visible in the BIOS?

What version of Windows do you have? With Windows 7, you should boot from the Windows CD and attempt a startup repair.

Best regards

Hello,
Given that I own an Acer Aspire One 722-C62kk (a laptop, after all...), running on Windows 7 Home Premium, but completely lacking a CD drive, and I also don't have the Windows CD.
When I bought it (at US Info), the seller only provided me with the laptop and the charger packed in a box, so I have nothing that can boot from the Windows CD...
If there really is no other solution, my computer is finished,
but is there a way to recover all my data?
Because all my life is in there.

So, I at least hope I can recover my data.
Thanks anyway,

Best regards, KraftCee

Shut down the PC
Unplug the power cord
Remove the battery
Press and hold the on/off button for about 30 seconds
Reinsert the battery
Reconnect the power cord
Start the PC.

Hi,
Actually, my sister dropped my computer...
As a result, the internal hard drive got disconnected from the laptop... And since then, it is no longer detected...
I entrusted it to my uncle, who is a computer technician; he will try to get it back online (Online, haha, you got that?).
