Hello everyone.
Startup issue with my laptop
Acer ASPIRE 7250
AMD dual-core processor E-450
AMD Radeon HD 6320
4 GB DDR3 memory.
After trying to copy and paste, the screen froze, Google stopped responding, and no actions were possible. I waited a few minutes but there was no change, so I forced a shutdown.
When I turned it back on, it prompted me to press the F2 key.
This message also appears,
Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.0.2.7(11/02/10)
Check cable connection!
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key.
The hard drive was replaced about 2 months ago.
And I can't find the CD anymore.
Thank you in advance for your help.

      Ok, I did it.
      Now it's showing me
      A disk read error occurred
      Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.
      I did that.
It displays again press F2 and if I do nothing I end up back on the message A disk .... :(

    Hello...

Your machine is trying to boot from a network... which it obviously can't find!
Enter the BIOS with F2, go to boot, check if your hard drive is there, set it as the first option, validate and exit the BIOS....

    Best regards,
    @+

PS: you mentioned that your hard drive was changed: I assume you reinstalled an OS?!

      Hello poupougne13
      I'm in boot.
How can I recognize the name of my hard drive?
      Here's what shows up
      1. Network boot: Atheros boot agent
      2 HDDO: ST500LM012 HN-M500MBB
      3 USB FDD
      4 USB HDD
      6 USB CDROM
For OS installation, good question. What is it exactly? It's my brother-in-law who changed my hard drive that I had to buy from a computer repair shop, and I think he installed it because he’s good at IT.

      Hello.
      I've done this manipulation too :-/ .
I will bring back the computer sometime next week.
I will come back to explain what the problem was
but if in the meantime there is something I can do, I will take it.

      Hello.
I picked up my PC on Friday.
The hard drive was replaced, it works like new.
But here's another problem that has occurred, there are issues with the Wi-Fi.
      I will open another post.
      I also installed Windows 10, I think it's great :) .
I thank Poupougne who was kind enough to help me ;)
      Topic closed.
      Have a good day.

Since the hard drive was changed, have you used the PC, and what have you done with it, for example?

I use the PC at home, back up photos, go on social networks, basically a family use.
