PowerPoint 2013 unable to save Solved

Question

Hello,
I am new to the forum so I hope you can help me.
When I save a PowerPoint presentation on my PC, the following message appears: "An error that could make PowerPoint unstable has occurred. Save your presentations and restart PowerPoint."
I can only save to the desktop but nowhere else, it's a pain...
If someone can help me, that would be nice.

Hello, I experienced this issue. For my part, it was due to the fact that the file was also visible via the Windows preview pane (which creates an access). PowerPoint cannot save a file that is (for Windows) opened twice. On my end, when I exited the file preview, the saving went smoothly.
I remain available if my explanations are unclear.

If I uninstall and then reinstall Office, will my activation license still be valid?
I have been using PowerPoint without any issues for a month, and now for the past week I have this error...

Yes, indeed, by clicking on "modify" Microsoft Office in "add/remove programs," I was able to start the repair.

Hi,
The repair went smoothly, then I restarted my PC just to be safe and created a new PowerPoint that I then wanted to save.
And.... TA-DA, the problem persists...
So if anyone has encountered this issue, please come forward or if you have other ideas, I would be delighted.

I had exactly the same problem, and it turned out that my USB drive was out of space. So you need to save to the desktop, then free up some space on your USB and copy-paste the document in question.
