Hello everyone,
I am new here.
I have to make a slideshow for my classes, so far so good. But when I try to save my work, I keep getting this message:
"Error saving the document Slideshow bis:
Write error.
Unable to write to the file."
I then cannot save my slideshow, while I have no problem with a text document. I tried saving it under a different name with Save As, but it's the same.
I would like to know how to succeed. Furthermore, I don't dare turn off my PC for fear of losing all my work.
I hope you can resolve my issue, thank you for your help.
PS: it's quite urgent!!

Hello Larissa 263
I think you are using LibreOffice or Open Office if I go by
the part of the forum you chose.
I mean, you are not using Microsoft Office PowerPoint
1)- It is possible that your slideshow is too heavy
and some have had this problem due to the size of their presentation.
So try deleting a few slides and maybe add them back
later. You delete a slide and try to save.
Then a second one, etc...
2)- Another tip to try - There are no guarantees, but sometimes it works
Always keep your PC open on your slideshow (don't lose it!!)
If you are using OpenOffice, install in addition
LibreOffice, and if you are using LibreOffice, install in addition
OpenOffice

OpenOffice

When the second one is installed, in "Save As" try to direct your slideshow to the new software.
Keep us updated
Good luck and have a good Sunday

I solved my problem differently than you advised me. I installed PowerPoint and everything has been working wonderfully since.
Thank you anyway ;)
