How to know if someone is really away (skype)

Salut. I think we can tell if someone is really absent on Skype. If someone knows, please let me know. :) Please.

    Hello~

    To know if someone is offline or truly absent, just send them a message: if a spinning gray circle appears to the right of the message time after a few seconds, it means the person is offline. Otherwise, they are just invisible.
