Cart jam on HP 3070A printer

There was a paper jam in my HP 3070 A printer. After removing the stuck sheet and checking the printer’s status, I turned it off and on again, but the display still shows:
Jam. Remove carriage blockage.
How do I unblock this carriage?

The manual does not provide guidance on what to do in case of a blockage, and when I try to use the config menu (gear icon) at the bottom left to perform maintenance and check the settings, it does not activate.

    I also have an HP DESKJET 3070A and I’m getting the same message: "Paper jam. Remove carriage blockage"... Nothing is blocking and the carriage won't move. I wanted to change my ink cartridges and can't do so under these conditions. Thank you for your help.

      same issue as you diddel31 the cart is stuck can't change cartridges for now

    If you pulled on the wire, there's a good chance you broke a gear.
