HP C5280 Printer Carriage Jam

Hello,

My printer no longer wants to print.
It says: "carriage jam remove the jam" but there hasn't been one. No pieces of paper stuck. The HP support tells me that the carriage is jammed, but when I start a print job everything seems to start normally, except that when it tries to take the paper, the error message appears. It feels like it's spinning in place.
Is there a gear that is broken or damaged?

Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello, I have the same problem. If you are facing the printer, you remove the right side panel, and next to the large white gear, there is a set of three small gears, and the one placed in the center is cracked. I tried to glue it, but no luck.
We need a new part, but where to get it from......

Thank you, but I have the same problem since this evening... Did you find this part (gear with three notched wheels) and if so, on which site?

you can redo existing sites with a 3D printer
