    Hello,

The white lines might be due to a scanner defect. Have you tried printing from the PC???

Otherwise, sometimes cleaning the heads doesn’t do anything. Especially when the printer hasn’t been used for a long time and the nozzles are completely clogged.

To check if the nozzles are clogged, go to the "Devices and Printers" panel and right-click on your printer. Choose "Print Options", then the "Utility" tab and the "Nozzle Check" button.

If the printed pattern is not regular, it means some of the 59*4 nozzles in your printer are clogged.

You can do two or three head cleanings, BUT NOT MORE because it doesn't help and will unnecessarily fill the "WASTE INK PAD" of your printer....

If head cleaning doesn’t work, you’ll need to do a "manual" cleaning with a 4/6 tube, distilled water, and a syringe.

Search for "EPSON print head cleaning" on YouTube and you'll find a video explaining it. You can also find cleaning kits on eBay...

    There you go....

Keep us - we = happy EPSON users - posted :-))

    Best regards

      Hello jpjl,
why is there no utility tab to clean the nozzles when I click on the print option? How do I find the Utility tab?
      Thank you in advance,
