My HP psc printer won't turn off anymore

Hello,

While the printer was printing, it grabbed several
sheets and this caused a paper jam.

Since then, my HP psc 1213 printer no longer turns off when I press the old button (I have to unplug it) and the ink cartridge check button keeps flashing even though the cartridges are almost new!

If you can help me, let me know.
Configuration: Windows XP AOL 9.0

    Customer service direction.
    An printer shouldn't be repaired on your own.
    These things are fragile.
