Hello,
I have reformatted Windows XP and, even though I have downloaded the drivers, it shows "Realtek rtl 8187B Wireless Lan absent" above the icon. The device manager does not report any issues, but Everest does not mention the network at all. The Realtek website, in English or Chinese, is too complicated for me and many pages are outdated. The discussions on this issue that I have consulted on the forums have not been helpful for me so far.
If you have the solution, please share it with me.

Hello
And thank you for taking an interest in my problem. I followed your advice, and this site made me download these drivers: Intel PRO/100/1000/10GbE 18.3 WHQL, but they are not related to my issue. This is not the first time I have reformatted, but it is the first time I am faced with such a problem....
