Hello,
I'm posting here to ask if you know the origin of my problem or if you can help me figure it out...
It's a problem with my Astro A50, the issue is that my microphone stops capturing sound from time to time, of course I only notice it when I'm on a Skype call or something similar...
When it happens, it feels like the headset is rebooting; it shuts down (although the buttons and the lights don’t turn off, the sound and the microphone cut out temporarily). This lasts for 2 or 3 seconds and then my microphone no longer captures my voice...
I don't know where this might be coming from, and I'm having trouble describing the problem. If you need more information, feel free to ask. Thank you very much!
I only know that to get my microphone working again, I have to restart Skype.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 26.0.1410.43

I use my Astro for my PC ...
But to solve the problem, try these different solutions:
Change the USB port
Change the mini-USB cable
Update the firmware (via the website www.astrogaming.com/firmware)
I got this information by contacting Astro Gaming support ...
These are the 3 options they provided, the first two didn't work for me, but the third one definitely proved effective.
