Hello everyone,
I had some PC problems and I just made a Debian live CD and formatted my 2 hard drives.
Now I want to install Windows 7, I've made a Windows 7 DVD and started the installation, however, the installation gets stuck at "Extracting Windows files" at 1%.
Thank you for your help.

You simply need to format your hard drive in NTFS and select a full format; uncheck the quick format option. It's a bit slower, but the drive is completely erased without leaving any traces.

Thank you very much for your response, I don't understand how to fully format my hard drive (which box to uncheck?) and to format it in NTFS do you need to enter a command during the Windows installation?
