Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

I just bought an e-book from "Virgin" (what a idea!)

It's sold in PDF and arrives in .acsm

So Adobe rejected it. I downloaded ADE and it gives me this error message:

E_STREAM_ERROR

I wonder: have I lost 15 euros at the dawn of this new year? -:)

Thank you for helping me if you can because the Virgin webmaster isn't providing a solution... he must be on strike!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 17.0

Hello damebea!

Before taking any other action, you need to download ADE - ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS - You should follow their advice to create a digital account.
Once downloaded, you will have the ADE library installed on your desktop.

It is only there that you can drag and drop your .ascm file from the desktop to the ADE library, and your download in PDF or EPUB will take place.

Connect your e-book, it will be recognized and will immediately appear in your ADE library in the left column.

The next steps are simple, right-click on the book to transfer to your e-book - then "copy to your e-book" will appear, and that's it.

It downloads the version from the library to your e-reader.

Check that it is indeed there and... happy reading!

problem solved

There you go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, don't ask me why, at 1 PM, the transfer to ADE finally worked, because I have no idea.

I even managed to send it after X attempts to my e-reader.

Thanks to everyone and see you next time!
