AVAST analysis / decompression bomb + ZIP

Hello,

I just ran a virus scan with AVAST and it didn't find any viruses. However, on the summary page, it indicates two concerning things (see image, I've circled in red ^^)

A decompression bomb and a corrupted ZIP file. I tried to quarantine them... it doesn't work. I tried to delete them... that doesn't work either.

What should I do? Also, since they come from the "System Volume Information" folder, am I at risk of ruining everything if I delete them?

I await your advice! Thank you :)

    Hi,

Moreover, it comes from the folder "System Volume Information\restore

This means that your system restore is or was infected....

    So to make it healthy:

Disable your system restore (only if you are on XP):
    Right-click on My Computer, then,
properties, click on the system restore tab
check the box "turn off system restore" and apply.

    Then,

¤Re-enable your system restore (only if you are on XP):
    Right-click on My Computer, then,
properties, click on the system restore tab
uncheck the box "turn off system restore" and apply.

    ===================================

To check, scan your PC with this online antivirus (under IE and accept ActiveX):
    www.bitdefender.fr/bd/site/search.php#
Click on "scan online" follow the instructions.
    And paste the report

    See you +
