Unlocking a Logicom tablet

I had a similar issue (TAB750 tablet stuck on the "android" logo, probably due to a botched app installation). I tried everything (pressing the power and volume buttons (I even stumbled upon a menu in Chinese!), disconnecting the battery (I had to unsolder/resolder a wire), ...)
I eventually managed to restart my tablet normally (of course, all the apps I had installed were gone, but that's okay, I had backed up my ".apk" files on my PC, and I reinstalled them all in 5 minutes). The same goes for the settings (WiFi, for example, which needs to be reconfigured).
There you go, I hope this can help someone.

I didn't find any protocol in the user manual that would allow for a reset, just security measures like not exposing to shock... blah blah blah.

I just tried this manipulation, the firmware update is successful.
Unfortunately, I’m still stuck on the Android logo at startup.
I can only see customer service now, but I’m not sure they’ll cover it since I rooted my tablet to install the Google Play Store ... well, we'll see!

Press and hold the reset button with a toothpick and keep pressing the minus until the Android logo appears. Then reboot by confirming with a press on power.

In my opinion, there was no need to root the tablet to access the Google Play Store.
