The compartment often marked with an "I" in the washing machine drawer is intended for pre-washing.     Hello,

    The detergent drawer is generally arranged in the order - pre-wash, wash, fabric softener. Obviously, this may differ on some models. The best approach is to rely on the symbols, which are very easy to recognize.

    • The compartment I is for the pre-wash.
    • The compartment II is for the main wash.
    • The compartment represented by a flower is for the fabric softener.

      Hello,

      Mine has a pictogram only for the softener on the right and the pre-wash compartment is the far left one.

      But you still have to be very stupid when you receive a washing machine not to take note of the details of the different programs and the purpose of the compartments, usually illustrated in the user manual that comes with it, without needing to read the entire thing, which is often indecipherable.
