I encountered a problem with the Hearthfire DLC in my Skyrim game for Xbox 360. In fact, I did receive the letter from Jarl Siddgeir (Jarl of Falkreath). I arrive to talk to him, as the quest indicates... nothing. Just the two basic dialogues. I don't see any dialogue related to the letter at all, and since my game is in English, it makes it even harder to find a solution on French forums. I REALLY want to have this house, so could I please get some help?

I had this problem too, but I finally found the solution!
In fact, the issue comes from the first quest of the jarl of Falkreath ((misc) Bring a sample of this item: Black-Briar Mead to Siddgeir)
Because this quest is part of a group of quests where the goal is always to deliver an item to someone.
However, these quests cannot be completed simultaneously, so check your journal to see if you have an ongoing quest ("Bring a sample of this item to...")
Once that quest is finished, you should be able to start the first quest of the jarl of Falkreath, which will lead to all the others!

Finally, my game was completely bugged, I received a letter from Epervine but I bought my land in a bar in Morthal!!
I tried to talk to them, but nothing special... I probably have a quest going on that I don't know about... :/
can you help me plz?????
