Hello or Good evening.
I bought the game Skyrim and I wanted to play it (normal, right?).
After the installation, I launch the game when I'm told that a file is missing (the file X3DAudio1_7.dll).
After looking for information on the forums, I downloaded the file from the internet and placed it where the game launcher is (right-click, properties, location) and put it here (according to what I understood from one of the forums, this is where it should go).
So I’m pleased with myself, I launch the game, and there it is, the same problem!
What should I do?
Did I put the file in the wrong place?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
So to respond to the creator of the post, a year later... This will help those who come here for the same problem.
When installing a game, or at least for the vast majority, a whole DirectX folder gets installed in the game's folder at the same time.
To solve the problem, simply go here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda\Skyrim\DirectX10 (default location)
Now you need to scroll down quite a bit to find the file "DXSETUP" (pressing 'Type' will make it appear at the top of the list) and execute it. Your machine will then look for any traces of DirectX, if any, everything will be installed.
Normally, the problem is solved, you can launch your game, and enjoy ;)

This .exe should be marked a bit more prominently; it's the first time I've heard about it! Thank you :3
