Good evening,
I've been playing Skyrim almost since its release (occasionally, of course) and it has always worked wonderfully, until yesterday:
I decided to try the "Skyrim Online" mod, I installed everything I needed, struggled to put the files where they needed to be, but it didn't work. I gave up and in search of simplicity, I simply uninstalled and then reinstalled the game on Steam (via Remove local content).
Now my problem arises: the launcher appears, and when I click "play," nothing happens. I've tried everything, I've reinstalled the game twice, with no result, I've tried verifying the integrity of the cache, and it tells me that a file is indeed corrupted but it doesn't change anything at all...
I should clarify that I have disabled all the mods I had added.
Please help me,
Hiboumalicieux

Well, thanks for the advice, it works :)
For those who might have the same problem later:
You need to go to your C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common, then completely delete Skyrim, then go to Steam, right-click on Skyrim and select "delete local content", then fully re-download it.
And thanks, Alex :)

Hello, I've been playing Skyrim for quite a while and the game has never had any issues. However, I'm a fanatic about mods and downloadable content from the workshop. Anyway, it's been 4 months since the game crashes after the Bethesda logo appears, and it's really starting to annoy me... If anyone has a solution, please don't hesitate (I really want to get back to my Skyrim game and play as soon as possible)
Thanks in advance!!
(I have an Acer Intel Core i7, Windows 10 that I curse and an NVIDIA GEFORCE 950M GTX. I've updated everything, cleared the cache content 586 times, and even deleted the local content. I've also tried the SFX bug but it still doesn't work...)
