TV remote won't change channels.

Hello,
Impossible to CHANGE the CHANNELS with my universal TV remote!
Among all its brand codes, only 2 are “good” for my TV (Schneider). Uh, good, actually, not really! It only manages to operate the Set, Power, “Vol+” and “Vol-” buttons, but does not operate the buttons for changing channels, from 1 to 9, nor “Ch+” or “Ch-”: whatever the button, among these 11, that is, with each attempt to change the channel, the picture starts to jump and jump at a speed, wow! And, to stabilize the image, the only way is to push the “0” button.
It's been 7 days that I’ve been trying, no luck, I'm only watching Fr5, what a joy, Fr5 for 7 days, 24/7, lol...!

I read here that Chris, with the same remote, can only change channels, but not the sound; I'm the opposite!
More precisely, I managed to change the channel only once (and unfortunately, because otherwise I would have stayed on TF1, but it changed to Fr5), during my first attempts on the first day... without knowing how and not being able to redo this fortuitous magical manipulation! But it is nonetheless proof that the inability to change the channel is not due to the remote's lack of compatibility with the TNT modem because, if that were the case, I should still be on channel 1 as it was when the TNT remote failed me. I specify that, although almost new, the TV remote is no longer under warranty as it is over 2 years old. I bought it shortly before the purchase of the TNT modem, after which I no longer used it - I used the TNT remote for everything. But when the latter failed me and when Auchan informed me that you cannot just buy a remote for a TNT modem (the only one Auchan imports in France: the LAZER brand!), but you have to buy a whole new TNT pack (which I refuse to do), I only have the TV remote left… which refuses to change the channel… except for one single and unique time… and it doesn’t remember how it did it :((
The model is SIPLEC RC61, but I think it’s a problem common to all (universal) remotes, characterized by the constant jumping, or rather shaking, of the image whenever you try to change the channel.
Is it worth mentioning that, curiously, this TV does not have the option to change the channel manually on the TV itself
I hope I found the right Forum (it seems to me that the Remote Forum is only for video devices, but not for TVs)

Thanks for your... insightful... responses...

Universal remotes aren't all the same (thankfully), there are real ones and fake ones. Try One For All or Logitech Harmony, fewer surprises.

Well, here!!! I don't understand anything anymore!!!

I thought a forum is to help SOLVE the problem by CORRECTING it, not by throwing the object in the trash... and replacing it with another... at a cost!

And I even think I insisted three times:
1) I asked for "informed answers," yet there's nothing informed about saying: "You have an object for which you're seeking help? Throw it away and buy another one, and more expensive to boot!" right?
2) I believe I clearly explained that the problem is particularly financial: by refusing to buy a whole pack of TNT decoder, just to replace its remote control
3) ... and I did not ask for a "purchase advice" for a new remote control. If I wanted to invest, I would just buy a new TNT decoder, which can be found for 20/25€€

I wonder if you actually read my question that I had detailed well, precisely to avoid "responses" like: "Throw it away and buy a new one," which are expressions of the ostrich strategy ("Fix" the problem by... ignoring it)... and for which a help forum is not needed, right?

And why not buy a new TV while we're at it? This way, I'll solve three problems in one go: I'll have a new remote control for the TV and I wouldn't need a TNT modem anymore (which would be incorporated into the TV) and its remote control...!

Clear evidence that you misread my post: I didn't say that "all universal remotes are the same," come on! I said that the "packaging" I described, the problem and its symptom (instead of CHANGING CHANNEL, the TV starts to JUMP IMAGE), must be a COMMON PROBLEM, which I qualified as a "problem common to all remote controls (universal)," the technical (or the) reason, and therefore the solution, being quite similar. Every technician knows what the jumping images correspond to, regardless of the TV brand, right? The reasons are mostly the same, give or take

So, I'm still looking for this "informed advice" on how to SOLVE THE PROBLEM of THIS REMOTE CONTROL. And I'm really impatient: I can't take it anymore with FR5: it's not so much that their programs are boring, it's that they repeat them in the meantime - in 7 days, I've already seen certain reports 3 times, in addition to having seen them previously! And "C dans l'air" 3 times in 24 hours!; it’s one of my favorite shows, but 3 times/24 hours, I can't take it anymore!!

Thank you for your... informed help... ON THE STATED PROBLEM. That's the only thing I'm looking for.

If I need to rephrase my question, here it is:

WHAT DOES THE IMAGE JUMPING correspond to, which occurs instead of the requested channel change? And how can it be fixed?
Thank you!

I think it's the remote control that sends the signal of the button you've pressed to the screen as if you were holding down the button. Disassemble your remote control and clean it, then reassemble it and try it again. If it still doesn't work, visit the website I provided below.

We can only help people with the right equipment; a universal remote control for 15 or 30 euros doesn't exist. At that price, we have certain brands and not always all the functions.

Have you cleaned your remote control or at least checked the website to see how much the remote costs?

Here is a remote that corresponds to my amplifier, and you'll see that it costs €29.90. I called to find out the prices of their remotes, and they are all €29.90.

You just need to call them, give them your device's reference, and they'll make it for €29.90 + shipping costs of €5, so don't get upset and call them, and they'll find your remote.

Call this number

On the remote control, you have a favorite button or a star depending on the remotes. And sometimes you accidentally press it, which locks the same channel. So you just need to press that button again to unlock the channel.
