Hello,
I am a Windows 7 user and I have installed Office 2010 on my computer. I would like to know how to draw an equilateral triangle using Word 2010? Thank you for the initial tips.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

When you do Insert/Shapes/Basic Shapes, when you click in the sheet, you automatically get an equilateral triangle.

Thank you very much. However, you obtain an isosceles triangle and not an equilateral triangle. You just need to verify by calculating the height of your triangle. I found the solution to another's problem.

I'm really sorry, but the triangle inserted by simply clicking on the Word page is as equilateral as it gets!

To convince you, make 2 copies of it and rotate them with the green button: the 3 triangles will overlap perfectly.

You must have dragged the pointer on the sheet, thus distorting the triangle; you just need to click!

Hello,

Tab "Insert" ==> "Shapes" ==> "Basic Shapes" and select the triangle (in 3rd position), then click on the page to insert it.

To modify the size: click D on the shape ==> "Other layout options"
and in the "Size" tab, check "Lock aspect ratio" and click + or -

For color and outline, it should be adjusted in "Shape Format"

Best regards
Sincerely
