Hello,

As a subscriber to an ISP that offers triple-play packages, we opted for their TV offer.
The problem is that the decoder (Netgem brand) keeps rebooting every 5-10-15, or at best, 20 minutes. So we decided to unsubscribe from their TV offer to keep only the telephony and ADSL.

Here is my question:

Are there no similar offers independent of ISPs?
After all, it only requires a decoder plugged into the Ethernet port of the box.
Because there are offers like MaxTV, but that requires keeping the computer on and using its processor. A decoder connecting via Scart or HDMI to the TV would be a good thing. (The perfect scenario would be the ability to add free channels with MMS addresses, for example.)

I've also heard about the Raspberry Pi; I'm sure there's a possibility with it, right?

Thanks in advance!

Configuration: Multi-PC; Love GNU/Linux and free OS

(Isn't there any similar offers independent from ISPs)
Answer: NO

The TV stream is sent in multicast by the ISP; if it had to rent this multicast to another provider, it would be very burdensome for the ISP, which is why it doesn't exist.

Consider satellite options.
