Hello,
I recently encountered a problem while trying to use Ratio Master (to increase your ratio on trackers like uTorrent / BitTorrent ...).
The issue is that when I search for the torrent file via RM with the "browse" tab, I can't find anything. It seems that the software does not recognize the format in question.
However, when I access the download folder directly, I can see the torrent file (in .dat format) but with the icon of an unknown file format. If this information helps...
According to another post I read regarding the display of .dat files, you need to uncheck the line "hide extensions for known file types" in the file explorer, tab --> tools --> folder options --> view. I tried that but it didn't change anything on my end :(
I wonder if I need software that reads .dat files in order to add the torrent file to Ratio Master or if it's just a matter of "checking" a setting somewhere on my desktop.
I have searched but can't find it. If anyone has the answer.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.

Oh noooooooon !
I went to ask for help on my tracker and I got banned!!
Why??!! :'(
P.S.: Thanks for your help Scarface72-
Why? Simply because you cheat for your ratio...
using Ratio Master (to increase your ratio on trackers <= their goal is to share, not to have members who download without sharing and who boost their ratio with software.
Now I will stop here, P2P itself is not illegal, but for the content most of the time it is...
So let's leave it at that..

Here, a cheater who doesn't share...
Why don't you ask a torrent tracker for your fake seed statistics software?
Oh right, µTorrent or Bittorrent are torrent clients, not trackers ^^
Before asking a question: 1° The brain doesn’t wear out if you use it, don’t hesitate to use it!
2° Google is your friend, as is the CCM search engine, do a search!
