Hello, I have a problem. Every time I turn on my PC, a small window opens that says "the specified file is missing." I think I know why, but how can I remove this window??
Thank you
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Go to Start, Run, type msconfig and click OK. Startup tab, locate the file in question and uncheck it.

Thank you for your help, but me and the computer don’t get along.
I did what you told me, but I didn’t know what to uncheck.
Actually, I think I know where the problem comes from; the other day a friend came over with her USB drive so I could print some documents for her, but I couldn’t open them because I didn’t have the software she used (OpenOffice). Looking in my documents and settings + my name + start menu + programs + startup, there was actually the OpenOffice logo, so I deleted it since I can’t open anything with it, given that I don’t have the software. And now when I turn on my computer, the window doesn’t pop up anymore, so that’s fine by me.
I hope I did the right thing and that you understand my gibberish (lol).
      Thanks anyway.

      You need to download Unlocker.
