Hello everyone, Word problem
I must have made a mistake: in Word, I am in the process of writing a book, and when I type in my text, the new text does not get added but instead erases the previous one. For example, when I press the spacebar in the middle of a sentence, instead of adding a second space, it deletes the next letter! Why?
Thanks in advanceConfiguration: Windows XP

Maybe the Reprint mode is activated if you see RFP in black at the bottom of the screen, so press Insert once, it will turn gray and should fix the issue.

Excellent! It's good to know this kind of stuff when you're typing up a report....
Thank you! -
It was just to say thank you because it helped me as well; I had never managed to pinpoint the problem.

In Office applications, including Word, you have a ? in the menu. Click on it and press Detect and Repair; it will perform like a reinstall and restore the default settings.
Test it and it works. -
