Hello,
this site just charged me €24 without my permission based on a registration from a year ago. I have hardly ever consulted this site... it is empty
they don’t refund, of course, under the guise of the Chatel law interpreted by the customer service that is located in the Sentier... strange
I am going to check with the fraud department and I feel like this is a nice slow and gentle scam... the amount is not very high

have you had the same problem?

Yes, the same goes for me, it's a scam, impossible to find the cancellation page
they send threatening emails... beware, caution for those who subscribe... I will block my bank account.

I agree with you. It's a scam. Having paid with a credit card, they cannot withdraw from my account, but they are sending me reminder letters. I am putting the matter in the hands of legal protection today.

They tried to pull the automatic renewal trick on me. Fortunately, the card I had used had expired, so it didn't work. They then actually sent me threatening emails. I replied that they should contact a lawyer friend, because in any paper subscription when you don't respond to a renewal request, it's considered that there is no renewal, and I don't see why it would be any different online. Since then, I've heard nothing from Trombi... where I just re-subscribed because I found some new familiar names, and I used a card that will expire in a year.

I just paid for a trial but due to the lack of results, I requested the cancellation of the subscription which they offer by tacit renewal. They did not take my request into account and are demanding 2 months of subscription that I refuse to pay; it's not about the amount, it's the principle. I unsubscribed and today I received a reminder by mail.

Please note that the Consumer Code protects us from such actions through articles L121-1 and following.

Furthermore, article L122-12 states that:
- the implementation of an aggressive commercial practice is punishable by up to 2 years of imprisonment and a fine of 300,000€.
The amount of the fine set out in the first paragraph can be increased, proportionally to the benefits derived from the violation, to 10% of the average revenue, calculated based on the last 3 known annual revenues at the date of the events, and, to go further, in the case of a legal entity, the sanction is even harsher.

You simply need to write a letter to the Public Prosecutor, explain the facts, mention articles L122 and following of the Consumer Code, and file a complaint for harassment and fraud.

Impossible to connect to the site to unsubscribe because obviously it requires a password that we don’t have, and when we click on "Forgot password", there’s no response in my inbox. The phone number: no response.
Trombi practices direct debit by credit card, which means that without the ability to unsubscribe, the only way to stop the debits is to change the credit card (and it needs to be done).

This site is pointless, to be absolutely avoided.

I also have the problem of follow-up emails (which I skimmed and only opened one and responded immediately that I wasn't interested... no time to go to the site, not very interesting, and even less time to respond to all the sales requests...) but they are becoming really threatening and since I no longer responded to them and they couldn't charge the credit card used the previous year because it expired... they just sent me a letter to my home!
What do we do to get rid of them? Are we forced to file a complaint? Or is a simple registered letter to a consumer protection organization enough?

Same for me, a bit more vicious, no credit card but a PayPal account and I already had issues with Trombi, which is indeed very dishonest and must be lacking paying customers.
I haven't been a subscriber for a long time, but without me going back or resubscribing (I had already done what was necessary a long time ago), my account reactivates itself all of a sudden without me even going back, with PayPal's claim rejected on the grounds that I subscribed to a subscription lol
PayPal must have a stake in this and yet I had never had any problems with them, but now it’s total disregard from both sides.
So I’m going to dispute with PayPal at my bank and I will close my account.
Indeed, it would have been easier to oppose it through my bank, so with the time wasted the payment will go through but I will be refunded by my bank.
Furthermore, I advise you to be cautious with online payments and to avoid any renewable subscriptions.
There are various options with our banks nowadays to prevent all fraud and it's easier to dispute things.
For example, double authentication, meaning for any payment we receive a text message with an authorization code.
Or better yet, an application from your bank that allows you to make an online purchase with a unique card number corresponding to the exact amount of your purchase and of course usable only once, so no need to give your credit card information.

exact, BIG SCAM Automatic subscription of €36. Not having the time to fight, I will pay to have peace, even though I have unsubscribed.
It is stated in the contract that the renewal is automatic. If you have been tricked, just like me, and have the time, fight back, at least for the principle.

Hello, I've also just been "robbed" of €24 by Trombi.com and I won't let it go. Like others, they registered my payment method, namely Paypal, without my authorization. I don’t save any payment methods when shopping online, but apparently some sites like them and Cdiscount have an automatic payment agreement with Paypal when using that payment method. I filed a complaint with Paypal who concluded that "no third party had used my account, so they could not follow up on my complaint." I asked them what the password is for then???
On the Paypal account, you can disable the payment authorizations for these sites. From now on, after each purchase, I will check that the site doesn’t have any payment authorization. I find it unfortunate that Paypal is complicit in such practices...
The matter is ongoing, but I will not give in. It's outright theft.

Hello,

Indeed, Trombi does not delete the accounts of deceased individuals.
This is appreciated by some users of the site.
A group of about ten friends, of which I am a part, is happy to be able to reread the messages and documents, and to see the photos of one of our friends who passed away in 2012.
He was a great traveler.

I had the same problem yesterday, I didn't think it was paid... I've been registered for at least ten years, at the beginning it was nice, I found a few old classmates, we caught up on what we have become and then that's it, everyone goes on with their life and since then, meaning for almost ten years nothing, it's empty! Not a single contact and I don't see the point, I'm going to unsubscribe...

I visited this site once in 2018 to look for someone like everyone else.. I was a thousand miles away from thinking that I would get scammed out of €50 a year, and it was up to me to terminate this subscription to which, as far as I remember, I did not agree, at least not in those terms, namely; We will charge you this money until you tell us to stop! They are extraordinarily skilled, you visit the site once and bam they charge you ad vitam æternam. It’s crazy when you think about how magical it is, you subscribe without realizing it and then you realize it's not easy to unsubscribe!
