My problem is that even when I enable "Show disabled devices" and also "Show disconnected devices" I can't see Stereo Mix:

      Normally, Stereo Mixing is available with Realtek High Definition Audio sound cards.

    Okay. I'm not sure you can do anything about it, but on laptops, the manufacturers don’t include high-quality sound cards because it’s not the most important component. You should look online for good sound cards with stereo mixing that connect via USB.

    Just a reminder...

    If there is no stereo mixing, 3 possibilities:

    1. Materially blocked.
    * Nothing can be done to get this option.
    You have to go through third-party software (often paid).

    2. The configuration file has been modified by the PC manufacturer.
    - Either they disabled the lines (easy to check)
    - Or they have been deleted (need an original file)
    In this case, you would need an original file (that's why it is sometimes better to download the audio driver from the manufacturer's website rather than the PC manufacturer's).

    3. Last variant.
    If the PC had this option under XP, download the version for that (then set to compatibility mode before installing the driver).
