Connecting active speakers in stereo

Hi,

To use a second speaker, it needs to be amplified (you don't have an amplified output on this speaker).

Then, for the connections, it's not convenient at all. Generally, you can choose the output mode for amplified speakers: mono or stereo.

However, I can give you several methods, depending on what you're looking for:
No Line input on the speaker (you're only using the MP3 player functions of the speaker):
Here, there's no true stereo. The speaker mixes the two audio channels. So when connecting another speaker, the same setup will reproduce.

Next, if you use the Line input + mic inputs:
You'll need to use multiple cables: first, the RCA input goes to Left on speaker 1. A second RCA cable comes out of speaker 1 (Mix Out Right - red connector) and runs to the second speaker's Mic 1 (to benefit from the microphones on both speakers). You'll need an RCA to Jack adapter for that. Finally, you have to input the Line signal to Right on speaker 2.

Lastly, if you don't use the mic inputs, MP3, and other things integrated into the speaker:
You input the Line signal to RCA Left on speaker 1 and Right on speaker 2.

In short, it's not practical at all, and what I recommend is to forget about stereo and use both speakers in "Mono" (even if it's not exactly mono: the two channels are mixed, I imagine). So use a single RCA cable that outputs to Mix Out to input to Line In on the other speaker.
